Choose words that deliver the right tone
Harsh, condescending
Your meeting report wasn't at all what I was hoping for. You left out the North Regional Project timetable, which is critical. I don't know what you were thinking, so please redo it by June 9 and don't leave out this timetable!
More productive
Please redo the meeting report by June 9 so it includes the North Regional Project timetable.
To abbreviate for example, use e.g. (not i.e.)
XY Company offers high-level financial services (e.g. annuities, estate planning & buy-sell agreements).
Only use i.e. to abbreviate in other words or that is.
